At the MFWA, we work with our partners to empower people to freely express themselves. This is based on our belief that there will be real progress and development in West Africa when the ordinary people are empowered to freely select their leaders, demand accountability from their leaders; insist on the proper utilisation of revenues from natural resources and actively demand access to public goods and services.

We also empower the media and support them to do critical, in-depth, investigative reporting that helps to uproot corruption, fight injustice and other governance abuses/ills.
