{"id":20798,"date":"2020-11-10T14:23:10","date_gmt":"2020-11-10T14:23:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mfwa.org\/?post_type=publication&#038;p=20798"},"modified":"2026-08-18T12:02:21","modified_gmt":"2026-08-18T12:02:21","slug":"media-ethics-report-october-16-30","status":"publish","type":"reports","link":"https:\/\/demo.mfwa.org\/fr\/reports\/media-ethics-report-october-16-30\/","title":{"rendered":"Media Ethics Report ( October 16-30)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The objective of the Media Ethics Monitoring Project is to identify and highlight incidents of ethical infractions in the media and draw attention to such breaches as a way of fostering adherence to ethical principles by media organisations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project involves daily monitoring of the content of selected media organisations and a compilation of periodic reports capturing ethical violations and naming the media organisations that commit such infractions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This report covers findings for the period, <u>October 16-30, 2020<\/u>. It highlights the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Types and frequency of ethical violations recorded<\/li>\n<li>General observations on how the media breach ethical principles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A total of <strong>960<\/strong> media content were monitored on the 26 selected media organisations over the two-week period out of which <strong>164 ethical violations<\/strong> were recorded.
