The study specifically assessed the\u00a0priority given to journalists\u2019 safety in different newsrooms in Ghana.<\/p>\n<p>It surveyed the\u00a0measures to improve journalists\u2019 safety and the impact of COVID-19 on safety practices at\u00a0media houses in Ghana. Forty (40) media houses comprising broadcast, print and online were\u00a0sampled for this study. In addition to the results of the online survey, interviews were\u00a0conducted with ten participating media houses to provide illumination on female-specific\u00a0issues in the various safety policies.
